Practical Prepping Blog

Preparations for a very uncertain future. . .

About This Blog

If you’re searching for a site that shows you how to build a lead-lined, steel-reinforced, underground Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical-proof bunker, you’ve come to the wrong place. This blog is not about ‘Bug-Out Locations’ and methods for deploying claymore mines – there are plenty of those already on the net.  This site is dedicated to that increasing number of Americans who sense something is VERY wrong with our economy and our politicians and have chosen to be proactive in their preparations for possible hard times ahead.

  2. I really enjoy the reading. This is an even bigger issue than most people think. All you have to do is sit around with a group of adults and the topic will pop up. Its on everyones mind. That type of mass concern should make everyone raise their alert flag. Distrust in the ecomomy, the government, and just a general ill feeling from such a huge part of the population makes me think that bad things are coming. I am not worried about WW3 but lived through Ike in Houston. 4 million people and many went without elect. and services for several weeks. It could have gotten much worse. I have started putting back cash..not in a bank. Looked into buying small amounts of silver and storing 60 days worth of food. I have a couple of guns and some ammo. Last thing I want is my family to look at me and ask…”what do we do now?’ Not having an answer would be an epic fail as a man, and husband.
    Thanks again for the blog.
