PP At the Range: Real-Life Practice v. ‘Group Think’

Think shooting tight groups is the be-all and end-all of pistol shooting?  You might be kidding yourself.  In this video, I show you how I use my range time to get proficient at quick target acquisition and the ‘double-tap’.  My rationale being, that in an actual encounter (God forbid), you won’t have time to get the perfect sight picture and breath cycle required of tight groups – rather, you will be under immense stress and have to get two quick shots off ASAP.  Practicing that, to me, is more meaningful and relevant.  Just one man’s opinion, though – your mileage may vary.

Be Safe.  Be prepared.
