Preparations for a very uncertain future. . .

Opinion: Demonization of Patriots Intensifies – But Why?

OK, so I can’t admit to being completely free of paranoia.  After all, any real prepper worth their salt has an abiding faith in the fact that he or she is being lied to on a regular and continual basis.  Right?  Whether it be by the .gov, or Wall Street Bubblemedia, or politicians – you name them, we don’t trust them.  We generally trust in our families, the Constitution, and God – and not necessarily in that order.

So excuse me if I cast  jaundiced and wary eye at the recent spate of ‘anti-patriot’ hate-speech and blatant demonization of same.  No, I’m not thin-skinned.  Hey, I’m a public school teacher with a life-sized, white silhouette of an AR-15 in the back window of his truck which I regularly park in a conspicuous place in the faculty parking lot amid the weathering and frayed ‘Hope and Change’ bumper stickers, just for giggles.  No, criticism does not bother me.

Unless it comes from members of the Federal government, the leadership of the Congress and former Presidents all at the same time.  Whether it’s Janet Napolitano’s Department of Homeland Security that prepared a draft of a report that called Ron Paul supporters, Constitutionalists, discharged Iraq and Afghanistan vets and Tea Party goers ‘extremists’ and potential domestic terrorists, or Nancy Pelosi warning that rhetoric like that which she hers from the right reminds her of the climate in San Francisco in the late 70s when two politicians were assassinated, or Slick (Wag-the-Dog) Willy stoking the fires last week by saying the political climate which has spawned the Tea Party movement is reminiscent of the same climate that existed before the Oklahoma City Federal Building was bombed in 1995.

Really?

The Tea Party demonstrations have been the most peaceful assemblies of people I have ever witnessed.  No hate, no stone throwing, no trashing of cars or property, so why all the fear?  Why the concerted effort to demonize peaceful protesters by linking them to terrorism, or political assassination?

Call me crazy, (I’ve been called worse), but I can’t help but believe that the economy is going to tank in the near future (perhaps late this summer or fall as the web-bots predict) and President Soetoro is going to need a distraction of sorts from the death of the dollar.  Is he, or certain members of his regime, capable of pulling a false-flag domestic terrorist attack and blaming it on ‘right-wing fanatics’?  I don’t know.  Would it shock me?  No.  Would it shock you?  Are the fires of demonization and vilification of Constitution loving, God fearing, gun owning patriots being stoked by all the usual suspects from CNN to the Southern Poverty Lie Center?  Hell yes.  Why?

Why, indeed.

Be safe.  Be Prepared.  I think we’re in for a long, hot summer.

Some appropriate ‘extremist’ music follows:  Lyrics below the video.

The paranoia is in bloom, the PR
The transmissions will resume
They'll try to push drugs
Keep us all dumbed down and hope that
We will never see the truth around
(So come on!)

Another promise, another scene, another
A package not to keep us trapped in greed
With all the green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined
(So come on!)

Chorus
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious

Interchanging mind control
Come let the revolution take its toll if you could
Flick the switch and open your third eye, you'd see that
We should never be afraid to die
(So come on!)

Rise up and take the power back, it's time that
The fat cats had a heart attack, you know that
Their time is coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend

Chorus
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious

Hey .. hey ... hey .. hey!
(repeat)

Chorus
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious

  1. People with power don’t like to be threatened, even when it’s done peacefully.

    • No, they don’t. And it has NOTHING to do with party. You’re right. It’s about power – and the threats to it. They look at Tea Party members as threats. Rightfully so.
